Marquette University shows off new residence halls

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Hundreds of students attending Marquette University will stay in the school’s new residence halls.

Two new buildings, Robert Wild Commons, are replacing McCormick Hall. They’re the first new residence halls on campus in 50 years.

The buildings can house 980 students and have fireplace lounges, multipurpose rooms, and a theater.

School officials hope the new residence halls will give students a sense of community.
