Memorial Weekend Will Have a Summer-Feel!

The rain and Seattle-like weather has finally come to an end. A slow-moving low pressure system situated over the Ohio River Valley begins to move east-northeast out of our neck of the woods. This will lead to some sun for your Thursday and highs back into the 60s. Inland locations will make a run at 70°!

Another slow-moving low pressure system will be the main weather maker as we head into this weekend and early next week. We will stay in the warm sector of the low, just east-southeast, and this will set the stage for 70s throughout Memorial Weekend. A few waves riding along a weak ridge and low to our northwest will usher in a chance for showers or storms. It doesn’t appear that any day will be a washout, but each day might not be completely dry around the Badger State.

Not only will highs be in the 70s around the viewing area this weekend; if you’re traveling around Wisconsin, conditions will remain about the same with highs in the 70s and scattered showers and storms.  Door County and the U.P. could be stuck in the 60s; however, that’s still above the average!
