The time is up for holiday procrastinators. Many retailers will be closed Christmas day.
C. Adam's Bakery inside the Milwaukee Public Market was busy Sunday as shoppers purchased treats for their holiday meals. Manager Meghan Crisci said it takes a lot of planning to prepare for the holiday rush.
"The oven is operating about 24 hours a day trying to get everything ready to go," Crisci said. "I didn't see the oven turned off once in the past couple weeks."
Staff says they love the fast pace of the holiday season in the bakery, knowing they're serving families in the Milwaukee area.
Like many retailers, The Milwaukee Public Market will be closed Christmas Day.
