UPDATE: MCSO investigating suspected suicide at Brown Deer Park

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- In a release from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office they responded to Brown Deer Park just after 4 p.m. Thursday for a report about a body near a picnic area. Two people playing Frisbee golf found the man.

Officials responded and discovered the man had a gunshot wound to the head with a gun located next to the body.

A suicide note was left in the 42-year-old man's car which was parked nearby.

UPDATE: BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office confirms that they are investigating what is believed to be a suicide at Brown Deer Park.

More information is expected to be released on Thursday.

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An investigation is underway after a body was found in Brown Deer Park.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner confirms that they are currently investigating a death that happened at the park on Thursday.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation.

The Medical Examiner tells CBS 58 News that it's too early in the investigation to know whether or not the death is suspicious at this time.
