MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department is remembering firefighters who died in the line of duty.
Chief Mark Rohlfing says firefighters honor the fallen every day by carrying on their commitment to saving lives and remembering that the job is not easy.
A ceremony was held at Station two.
"They see some difficult things so it's a hard job and it's important to spend some time to talk about that and remind people of that and remember," said Chief Mark Rohlfing.
The department honored fallen firefighters by reading the 128 names of those who have died with the department since the 1800's.
