Milwaukee streetcar construction hits AT&T line causing outage

AN AT&T outage in the city of Milwaukee Wednesday night was due to construction. According to a statement from AT&T some of their facilities were damaged by a construction crew in Milwaukee. As of Wednesday morning they were starting to restore services to customers.

The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works sent CBS 58 a statement that contractors working on the streetcar damaged an underground telecommunication utility. The contractor is working with AT&T to get the line repaired as quickly as possible. 

The timetable for the streetcar is still on track.
