More Snow Wednesday

Well after a record setting snow on Monday, the Milwaukee area will have another chance for snow on Wednesday.  This will be nowhere near the storm that crippled drivers on Monday; however, some light snow accumulations are possible.

Another fast moving disturbance is coming out of the desert southwest tonight, and that wave will provide the lift for some light snow on Wednesday.  The best dynamics are forecast to stay to our south, but it's close enough to create light snow between 9 am and 6 pm.

The big storm on Monday had a warm layer aloft, and that created sleet and snow.

The column is frozen for Wednesday, so the precipitation shouldn't toggle between sleet and snow this time around.

There's not a lot of moisture to work with.  Accumulations will remain below an inch, with most areas picking up an additional dusting to half an inch.  That little amount could slow you down for the afternoon and evening commute.
