New CBD cafe opens Friday in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A new CBD cafe is coming to Milwaukee. It's opening for business on Friday.

CBS 58 got a sneak peek at the Hemp World CBD Cafe at Humboldt and North in Riverwest.

It's a place where you can get a bite to eat, something to drink, and maybe have a hookah infused with CBD oil that just became legal in Wisconsin this year.

"It's not like marijuana at all, It's not psycho-active. It's just a body healer. It makes your body feel good, it makes you relax," said Samia Harris with Hemp World CBD Cafe.

CBD oil is extracted from the hemp plant and they say there is no high associated with it.
