Noah's Ark debuting new water slide in 2018

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (CBS 58) – Noah's Ark Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells is adding a new water slide to the park deputing in 2018. The slide is a king cobra-themed ride named Raja.

Raja - The World’s Largest King Cobra is the tallest and longest slide of its kind and combines an innovative and unique design to create one of the most thrilling water slide experiences in the world. Riders will race side-by-side on tubes from six stories up, along more than 335 feet of twists and turns at speeds up to 30 mph, with a finale that includes a sudden 37-foot plunge into the mouth of a massive king cobra.

“Noah’s Ark has a rich history of bringing some of the world’s most innovative attractions to the Waterpark Capital of the World,” said Mark Whitfield, Noah’s Ark General Manager. “Raja will be no exception to that tradition and we believe that our guests will find it to be one of the most thrilling experiences of their summer.”

The slide’s 65-plus-foot tower will be situated along Wisconsin Dells Parkway next to the iconic Ark structure and Flash Flood boat ride. It will open to guests in 2018.
