Now is the time to try out that winter coat you got for the holidays!

I'll cut to the chase.  Look for highs to struggle to get to 10 degrees today.  And I don't see any readings above freezing at least the next ten days.  There, I said it!  You know any wind we get will make it feel that much colder.  In fact, we have a Wind Chilly Advisory until noon on Wednesday.  This means the "real feel" temperatures will be -15 to -25 at times.

With these type of conditions, you can get frostbite in a half hour.  So, the bottom line is wear the layers and protect any exposed skin.  Make sure to warm up yourself and your car.  And keep the pets inside.

Behind the cold is a little snow on Thursday, especially in the afternoon and evening.  We could see a few inches that day, making for slick spots on the roads.  There's another chance of light snow late Friday into Saturday.  Otherwise, remaining frigid for the last few days of 2017 and the start of 2018.
