Packers gearing up for free 4-day Packers Experience festival

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- With Packers Training Camp fast approaching, fans will have many more opportunities for fun with the Packers Experience, a four-day, free festival in honor of the Packers’ 100 Seasons.

The festivities kick off at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, in conjunction with the first day of Packers Training Camp, with live music, entertainment, food and beverages offered throughout each day.

The team says the large-scale event will span a majority of the Lambeau Field campus, from the Lambeau Field parking lots and Titletown to Ray Nitschke Field. Four different zones will offer football games, skills challenges and activities for all ages.

The American Family Insurance Zone will feature Quick Slant, Hail Mary and Training Camp challenges, as well as a beer garden adjacent to the Johnsonville Tailgate Village. This zone also includes the Legendary DreamTheater, inspired by American Family Insurance. The theater will feature a 12-minute excerpt from Legacy: 100 Seasons of the Green Bay Packers, presented by American Family Insurance.

The Bellin Health Zone will feature a replica Packers Team Locker Room, a 40-yard Dash game and “Look Like a Player,” which will provide a unique photo opportunity for fans who want the chance to step into a player’s shoes.

The Fleet Farm Zone will offer several skills challenges, including Touch Pass, Punt Return, Field Goal and Extra Point Kick games. The main stage will also be a part of this zone, with live entertainment throughout the event including “Centennial Sit-down” alumni interviews.

The Old El Paso Zone will include Rookie Camp and Obstacle Course, with activities geared toward younger fans.

Alumni “Centennial Sit-down” interviews will take place throughout each day of the event on the main stage or network broadcast sets. Additionally, the Lambeau Field seating bowl will be open for attendees to visit

Titletown will host Gatorade Junior Training Camps for kids each day starting at 10 a.m., instructed by USA Football-certified coaches. The Titletown stage will also feature live music on Friday and Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
