CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Cudahy Middle School teacher is facing his third OWI charge. Oak Creek Police pulled the teacher over Friday night. Some parents say they are concerned.

Chad Donahue is charged with operating while intoxicated. According to the criminal complaint, Donahue was going 66 mph in a 35 mph zone on the 6300 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue in Oak Creek. It happened around 1 a.m. Friday morning. When officers asked Donahue if he had been drinking he said: "I don't drink." Donahue's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

Grandparent of a middle school student in the district Debra Patti believes OWI's are unacceptable, especially for teachers.

"Teachers have a responsibility on their job and off their job. These students look up to them," Patti said.

Most parents outside of school Monday agreed.

"You're just not setting an example for the kids, especially at an age when they're impressionable," Frank Magestro said. "I don't think he has any business being around kids teaching"

The Cudahy School District released a statement Monday saying:

In response to a request from the media, we are confirming that one of our District Employees, Chad Donahue, appears to have been arrested by the Oak Creek Police Department in an issue unrelated to his duties with the District.

Since this could become a personnel matter, the District has no comment at this time.

Donahue is out of jail on a $2,000 bond.
