Pleasant weekend continues, but stay out of the water

The cool and quiet weather from the past few days will continue as we start a new week. For three days now the 7-day forecast has not had a drop of rain on it and that trend continues, although the 10-day does have a few chances at showers.

It's been great weather to enjoy the outdoors and Sunday will be no different. It's a big sports day for Wisconsin as the Brewers try to stay in the playoff picture with a matinee game against the Giants. Temperatures will stay cool in the upper 60s for most of the game, but that roof will be open.

A jacket might be needed if you're going to Sunday Night Football up at Lambeau. When the parking lots open just after 3 p.m. temperatures will be very comfy in the upper 60s but for most of the game Green Bay temps will stay in the 50s.

Hopefully both teams pull out the W!

Despite the quiet weather inland, when it comes to Lake Michigan it's a different story. A Beach Hazards Statement remains in effect for all of our lakeshore counties of Sheboygan, Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha until Monday morning and could get extended even farther. Waves between four to seven feet are likely with dangerous currents. The wind is mainly to blame with a good breeze from the northeast gusting to 25 mph.
