Plow driver arrested for drunk driving after hitting pickup truck head-on

JEFFERSON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Jefferson County Sheriff reports that two people were injured after a car crash on Highway 18 just east of State Highway 89 in Jefferson on Wednesday morning. 

The 18-year-old driver of a plow was driving east on Highway 18 in the west lanes and hit a 2012 GMC pickup truck head-on. 

The driver of the pickup truck was found unresponsive when first responders arrived. The driver of the plow complained of a leg injury. Both drivers were taken to Fort Atkinson Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The 18-year-old plow driver, identified as Samuel Jacobson, was arrested for injury by intoxicated use of motor vehicle.
