Potential juror warrant dismissed in Slender Man case, 9 being served

A warrant issued to one of ten jurors has been dropped in Waukesha's Slender Man stabbing trial.

Nine others face fines for failing to fill out a jury questionnaire. Waukesha County needs to seat two separate juries in the cases against Annissa Weier and Morgan Geiser who police say admitted to stabbing and wounding a classmate as part of a ritual to an online gothic character named Slender Man.

Both juries will be sequestered.

The next court date in Weir’s case is next Monday when jury instructions will be presented. Morgan Geyser’s next court date is also next Monday for a status conference.
