WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- The Powerball jackpot has increased to an estimated $570 million for Saturday night's drawing making it the 5th largest Powerball jackpot and the 7th largest U.S Lottery jackpot.
Lottery players have a chance to win a Mega Millions jackpot of $450 million in Friday's drawing, which comes to an estimated $281.2 million cash payout.
"With the Powerball jackpot over half a billion dollars, there sure is a lot of excitement in Wisconsin," said Wisconsin Lottery Director Cindy Polzin. "It may be cold outside, but the jackpot is hot! If you are going to play Powerball, we encourage you to have fun, but certainly play responsibly."
