Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Joey
One of our proudest station events is happening this week. CBS 58, the Hunger Task Force, and Brewers Community Foundation are once again sponsoring the "Thanksgiving Drive Thru Food Drive" all day Wednesday at Miller Park. It's simple. Just make a donation of non-perishable canned or boxed food items without even leaving your car. The goal is to collect 150 thousand pounds of healthier, nutritious foods like peanut butter, brown rice, low sodium vegetables, and breakfast cereal with less sugar.
Each vehicle will receive several gifts from corporate sponsors, including a commemorative Zach Davies Brewers bobblehead, coupons, snacks, and other items. The first 100 cars to donate five frozen turkeys each will also receive a souvenir Bob Uecker Magic 8-Ball. Members of the CBS 58 family will be out at Miller Park all day, so we hope to see you there.
