Jacob Kittilstad welcomed Racine County Supervisor Janet Bernberg on the show to talk about the Youth in Governance program. Every year the board allows a group of high school students to shadow different committees and learn how local government works. Right now the county is looking for nominations for the next round of teens to join the program. Click here for more information

As winter continues, the Racine Art Museum has two new exhibitions that people might want to check out. “Text Message: Words and Letters in Contemporary Art” explores how artists use words in their work. “Polymer Art: Recent Acquisitions” looks at new pieces in the clay-like medium that have come into the museum’s possession. And the 2018 Snowdance 10 Minute Comedy Festival is already sold out! This is the 14th year of the production put on by the Over Our Head Players. Members of the public from around the world send in their scripts with the hope that the crew will bring it to life. The run of shows culminates with the selection of the best sketch.
