Resident found dead inside Walworth County home following fire

WALWORTH COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The single occupant of a Walworth County home was found dead after a house fire early Friday morning.
The Walworth County Sheriff's Office received a report of a residential structure fire in the Town of Spring Prairie around 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
The fire was extinguished quickly and the single occupant of the home was found dead inside.
The Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation is leading an investigation to determine cause and origin of the fire.
The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office, Walworth County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol Tabaco and Firearms are assisting.
