Seasonal Rest of Work Week, 90° Possible By Sunday!

After a hot and humid weekend with Milwaukee almost hitting 90 degrees on Sunday, the lake breeze returned yesterday. It was a breezy, but beautiful day around much of the area once the clouds exited behind the front. With high pressure nearby, the highs will stay seasonal for early June the rest of the week. The lake breeze will continue to drop the temperatures by the afternoon along the lakeshore. The only rain or storm threat for this week looks to be on Thursday night and/or Friday. At this point, it looks to be just a slight chance.

The big talker as we move closer to this weekend will be the big warm up. The way the models are stacking up, we could hit our first 90 degree high of the season! Several 80 degree plus days are likely starting on Saturday through Tuesday! A broad upper-level ridge will move into our area from the west encompassing most of the eastern two-thirds of the country. The heat and humidity could continue until early next week before relief settles in. With a dynamic system with hot and humid air, storms could fire by Monday night and Tuesday of next week!
