Showers and Storms for Thursday

The weather pattern will change for Thursday with a chance for showers and storms for Thursday evening.  Take a look at the graphic above.  A disturbance aloft will spark showers and some thunderstorms between 8 pm and Midnight.  Ahead of the wave, clouds and sun will allow temperatures to warm into the middle to upper 70s on Thursday afternoon.

No severe weather is expected with the storms.  They should be out in time for the Friday morning commute; however, some clouds will linger through the day on Friday with temperatures int he 70s.

Say goodbye to the 70s because this weekend the temperatures will quickly warm into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees!  A strong southwest wind could bring several days in the 90s.
