Summerfest is finding all sorts of ways to entice visitors for its 50th Anniversary Bash.
Now, there's a new look for the Miller Lite Oasis. The renovations that began back in October of 2016 are now complete. The viewing deck has been redesigned which offers even greater views of all the action including the people watching. The project is taking the long time partnership between Brewer and festival to a new level.
"We continue to invest in this great hometown of ours and we want to continue to invest into world's largest and best music festival in the United States of America," said Jim Kanter of Miller Brewing Company.
"The stage itself didn't change substantially. A new proscenium and the stage side walls give the stage a much larger presence," said Don Smiley of the Milwaukee World Festival, Inc.
Eppstein Uhen Architects and Hunzinger Construction company managed the renovation, the first improvements to the Miller Lite Oasis since 2006.
Everything old is new again for Summerfest's 50th Birthday.
Performers include dance band DNCE, hip-hop artist Ludacris, and country crooner Lee Brice.
