South Milwaukee car dealership gets license suspended for tampering with odometers

A Milwaukee car dealership has had its license suspended for 21 days.

According to the Department of Transportation, Moe Motors located at 1701 Rawson Avenue in South Milwaukee improperly reset odometers on 11 cars it sold causing the odometers to register a lower mileage. The dealership has agreed to "provide restitution" to the people who bought the cars by replacing odometers and will "follow better business practices."

The license suspension began May 31 and ended June 20 after an investigation by the Department of Transportation's Dealer and Agent Section.
