St. Francis Police investigating package theft

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The St. Francis Police Department is currently investigating a package theft. 

A resident called police around 1:05 p.m. on Friday to report that someone had stolen their package within the last 10 minutes. It happened in the 3600 block of Ellen Street.

The passenger of a black SUV, possibly an older GMC or Jeep type of vehicle got out, rang the doorbell, and then stole the package off the porch.

The suspect was last seen wearing black pants, a black vest, and a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up over their head.

On the victim's video, it shows a dark blue Ford Escape leaving the area.

The investigation remains ongoing.
