Sunday morning fire displaces nine from north side home

Nine people are being assisted by the Red Cross following an early morning fire in their north side Milwaukee home.   The fire was reported around 6:25 AM.   When crews from the Milwaukee Fire Department arrived they found fire in the attic of the home at N Buffum and E Burleigh Streets.   The residents of the home, six adults and three children were able to get out of the house uninjured.   At this time there is no dollar estimate of the damage and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
