Celebrating America’s top emerging sport during National Pickleball...
For decades, St. Coletta Day School has chartered a new path to educate children with intellectual disabilities and they're celebrating in a big way this year.
CBS 58 News caught up with some students as they learned tap dancing from a guest artist, Ryan Cappleman, who is part of Danceworks and its community outreach.
Over several weeks he'll be teaching the students and then showing what they learned at the annual fundraiser at Mount Mary College called Colettascope.
"It's a really good way for them to express themselves," Cappleman tells CBS 58 News. "It's a really good source for physical education through dance. It's a good way to get out some energy."
CBS 58 is a long time supporter of Colettascope and Chief Meteorologist Drew Burgoyne is going the extra mile as emcee this year.
Drew is also learning to tap dance.
So the November 11th bash is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
