Thunderstorms Move Through Overnight

A line of strong to severe storms continues to move across the western part of Wisconsin tonight.  Wind damage was reported as the line moved out of Minnesota.

We expect a gradual weakening of the storms as they move closer to the Milwaukee metro area; however, storms that move throughout Jefferson, Dodge, and Fond du Lac counties could produce quarter hail and gusty winds up to 60 mph.  Stay away from windows as the storms move through.

The timing for the storms is from 1 am until 5 am.  It looks like the line will reach the Milwaukee metro between 2 and 3 am.

A few lingering showers will be possible across our area for the morning commute before clearing by the afternoon as highs approach 85 degrees!
