Tracking storm chances for Wednesday

The heat and humidity will easily be felt on Wednesday.  Highs are expected to climb into the low to middle 80s with plenty of humidity.  Most of the afternoon should be dry across southeastern Wisconsin; however, shower and storm chances will increase during the evening and overnight.

A few isolated storms could develop during the evening.  While we have a chance across our northern counties, most of the storms will stay just north of our area.  Any storm during the evening could pulse up and become strong to severe.

The cold front is expected to arrive after 10 pm.  The greatest concentration for showers and storms will develop ahead of the front and move in between 10 pm and 2 am.  Showers and storms will have the chance to produce small hail and gusty winds.  The storms will be out for the Thursday morning commute.
