MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In a press release, Milwaukee Police say they investigated a crash that happened just before 4 a.m. Thursday near 17th and Highland.
Two people were in the car that was hit at the time of the crash. A 41-year-old man was taken to the hospital where he died. A 31-year-old woman in the car was also taken to the hospital where she is in critical condition.
Milwaukee Police are searching for the driver of the car that caused the crash who fled the scene.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police confirm one person died following the crash near 17th and Highland Thursday morning.
Another victim was taken to the hospital with injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Two people are hurt after a crash near 17th and Highland Thursday morning.
The Milwaukee Fire Department says they were called to the scene around 3:57 a.m. Two people were transported to the hospital. Authorities say a firefighter was also being treated at the hospital for lacerations to the hand.
No other information is being released at this time.
