Uber Health partnering with health care centers to pick up patients for appointments

(CBS 58) -- Uber is teaming up with doctors across the country to make sure people show up to appointments and it won't cost you anything. 

Every year, millions of Americans miss medical appointments because they don't have transportation. Now, Uber Health is partnering with healthcare providers to schedule rides for patients, paid for by your doctor. 

You don't even need a smartphone or the Uber app to get a ride. 

More than 1900 hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and senior care facilities are already on board.
