Volunteers to Bring Nativity Scene to Life in Shorewood

A church in Shorewood will bring an annual tradition to life on Christmas Eve. For a 25th year, volunteers from St. Robert Parish will dress in biblical attire alongside live animals for a nativity display.

"It's a powerful reminder of what Christmas is really all about. It's about Jesus. It's about what He has done for us," said Father Dennis Dirkx.

The public is welcome to view the live nativity scene from 3:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the church, which is located at 2214 E Capitol Drive.
