"Weathering' the next week will be a challenge

Milwaukee (CBS 58)--How many times do you hear "the calm before the storm?"  Well, I'm saying it again.  And this time I mean it.  We are losing all the nice weather we saw on Saturday in a matter of a few hours.  Look for rain to increase late Saturday night and last through much of Sunday.  That's only part of the story.  The wind will be a very big factor.  We'll have gusts of at least 40 mph from the southeast on Sunday.  There's a wind advisory in place for lakeside counties during the day.  Also, we have a Gale Warning in effect on Lake Michigan where 8 to 10 foot waves are possible at the very least.

We quiet down a little on Monday before our next storm system moves in for Election Day Tuesday.  That day looks windy and wet too.  A colder system late in the week promises to give us some wintry precipitation.  In fact we could see our first minor snowfall of the season by Thursday night and early Friday.  Stay tuned to the CBS58 Ready Weather team for the latest developments.
