West Allis Police respond after Facebook post regarding suspicious man at Marshalls goes viral

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The West Allis Police Department has responded after a woman's post regarding a suspicious man at Marshalls & HomeGoods on Highway 100 has gone viral.

The post said that a woman believed she was targeted to be kidnapped while shopping at the store on September 13.

West Allis Police conducted an investigation and determined that nothing criminal or suspicious occurred.

Police have spoken with the poster who is safe.

Police say that the alleged suspect was shopping in the store and did in fact purchase some items.
