RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Humane Society is still looking for a forever home for Rocky who was badly beaten by his former owner.

Rocky is at the Racine Campus and has now been waiting for a family for a week. Staff say he will stay until he finds a family, but know that he would be happier in a loving home as soon as possible.

The Humane Society says Rocky is "untrained, exuberant and a total handful" but with a little work, they believe he will turn into a great dog.

Rocky is looking for a home without children under the age of eight and plays a little rough so he shouldn't go to dog parks and needs to be monitored when interacting with other dogs.
