Wisconsin State Trooper saves overdose victim on I-41 Friday evening

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 23-year-old man from Ogdensburg, Wisconsin was arrested Friday evening around 7:20. A Wisconsin State Trooper was driving on I-41 north when he saw a car stopped in traffic near Richfield. When the trooper got up to the car he saw that the driver was unresponsive.

The doors of the car were locked and the Trooper had to break a window. Using two doses of Narcan, the trooper revived the driver who was taken to the hospital.

Eric Boutwell failed sobriety tests and was arrested for his first OWI.
