Woman calls West Bend police on self, says she's driving vehicle while intoxicated

The West Bend Police Department received a phone call from a 36-year-old woman from Illinois who stated that she was driving her vehicle while intoxicated and needed to be arrested.

West Bend Police were able to locate the woman on S. 7th Ave at Decorah Road shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

The investigating officers observed signs that she was intoxicated. The woman failed standardized field sobriety tests and blew a .21%.

The woman was also in possession of prescription medication that she was not prescribed.

She was arrested for OWI and Possession of Prescription Medication Without a Valid Prescription.
