Wisconsin Man Charged after Injuring Four During Car Crash
On March 12 at 2:46 AM, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on US 151 south of State Highway 49, in the Township of Chester in Dodge County.
Preliminary investigation shows that 35-year-old Thomas Moore of Missouri was operating a Pontiac Grand Prix traveling south on US 151. 34-year-old Eric Anderson of Waupun, WI was operating a 2001 Volvo south on US 151 and was approaching the rear of the Pontiac. The front of the Volvo struck the rear of the Pontiac, causing the Pontiac to go into the median and overturn.
34-year-old Chastity Moore, a 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl form Missouri were riding in the Grand Prix. The two teens and Thomas Moore were transported to Waupun Hospital for minor injuries and were treated and released. Chastity Moore was transported to Waupun Hospital with non-life threatening injuries but later transferred to UW Hospital in Madison.
Anderson, the driver of the Volvo, was transported to Waupun Hospital for treatment of his injuries and he was later booked into the Dodge County Jail on a charge of Injury by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle.
