Quiet, cool weather as we spring forward to Daylight Saving Time on Sunday

NOW: Quiet, cool weather as we spring forward to Daylight Saving Time on Sunday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Look for a pretty non-eventful weather weekend as we focus our attention on changing the clocks ahead one hour as we start Daylight Saving Time early Sunday morning.  It should be dry and cool this weekend with highs in the 40s.  But a big warmup is in store by Monday and Tuesday as winds switch from the northwest to the southwest with highs back in the 60s before settling in the low 50s by the end of the week. Looks like some showers return by the end of the week itself.  As it stands now, St. Patrick's Day weekend next weekend should be dry along with temps in the 40s.

Rainfall amounts on Friday generally ranged from a quarter to three quarters of an inch.  And of course, our snowfall deficit for the season is now approaching 20 inches!! It'll be interesting to see if we get that last one or two snowstorms for the season.  March 19th at 10:06 p.m. starts spring on the calendar although meteorological spring began on March 1st.
