61-year-old man shot during attempted robbery near 18th and Meinecke

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 61-year-old man is recovering after being shot during an attempted robbery in Milwaukee near 18th and Meinecke.
The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities say the man refused to give the suspect what they wanted and that's when he was shot. The man was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be okay.
