WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wauwatosa Police say one of the men found dead was a 54-year-old resident of the home. He was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the area around his face and mouth.

The other man, 40-years-old, had a gunshot wound to the back of the head.

On Thursday, investigators were on scene collecting evidence. Throughout the day, two people stopped by for scheduled appointments with the man who lives there.

"I was scheduled for an appointment at 2:30," said Savannah Sippy, patient.

She did not know the place she was going to seek treatment was the scene of a death investigation.

Neighbors and Sippy said the 54-year-old man was a psychiatrist.

"He was the first person I felt comfortable opening up to. It's absolutely heartbreaking to hear what's happened to him," said Sippy.

Wauwatosa Police is not confirming or releasing the names of the two men until their families are properly notified.

"There's a lot of grief. The world has lost a good person," said Sippy.

Wauwatosa Police said they are not looking for any suspects and there is no threat to the public. The department is not officially referring to the crime as a murder-suicide but that it appears that is the case.
