Antigo man with 2-year-old in the car arrested for OWI

MARATHON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 30-year-old Antigo man was arrested for his 1st OWI.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday on US 51 NB at 199.

A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped the man for a lane deviation and noticed that he had a suspended status on his drivers license. 

The Trooper could also smell an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.

The driver showed signs of impairment during standardized field sobriety tests.

He was charged with OWI 1st offense with a child under the age of 16, operating after suspension 3rd offense, and possession of THC and drug paraphernalia.
