The Police Department's community outreach dog, Nattie, is turning two years old in June.
Police wanted to have the party a few months early so students could celebrate with her.
Nattie joined Marquette PD in August and has quickly become a favorite on campus.
"I think it's great she's there for the students to de-stress, especially for victims of crime. She's there to relax them and change their mindset a little bit," said Officer Carolina Seidl with the Marquette University Police Department.
Birthday party guests were encouraged to bring donations like cat and dog food and treats. All the donations will be given to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
