Brewers sign top pick Ethan Small

The Milwaukee Brewers have signed first round draft pick Ethan Small. The left-handed pitcher was the 28th overall pick in the 2019 draft.
Small went 10-2 with a 1.93 ERA this season as a junior at Mississippi State University while leading the nation in strikeouts. Small was named the 2019 SEC Pitcher of the Year.
He will start with the Brewers rookie league team in Arizona before joining the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. The Brewers have signed 22 of their 39 draft picks.
