Bucks, Froedtert & MCW Health Network and Versiti to host blood drive at Fiserv Forum

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Bucks, Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin are teaming up to host a blood drive at Fiserv Forum.

The Bucks Blood Drive, planned for Sept. 2, is looking for up to 350 people aged 17 and older to donate blood. The Bucks say those who donate will receive a special buy one, get one free ticket offer to a 2022 Bucks preseason game at Fiserv Forum.

“We join the Bucks and Versiti in making a plea to our community because the demand for blood continues to be at or above our supply – especially with the needs of trauma, cancer, sickle cell and COVID patients,” said Cathy Jacobson, president and chief executive officer of Froedtert Health. “Your donation to Versiti stays local, so please support.”

All blood types are needed and donating will take approximately one hour.
