Car caravan planned in protest of Theodore Edgecomb verdict

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A car caravan is planned Thursday night by a group that objects to Wednesday's conviction of Theodore Edgecomb in Milwaukee.

Edgecomb was found guilty of first degree reckless homicide for last year's fatal shooting of attorney Jason Cleereman.

The group Milwaukee Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression issued a statement, saying, "This trial has clearly shown that self-defense is only acceptable when you are born into and defend white supremacist institutions."

Thursday night's car caravan starts at 6 p.m. at Mitchell Park.
