Children's Wisconsin temporarily not allowing visitors under 12

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Children's Wisconsin will temporarily not allow kids under the age of 12 to visit in the hospital.
Children's says the announcement made Monday, Dec. 16 is to help prevent the spread of the flu and other viral illnesses and protect the health of patients, their families and staff members.
The annual temporary visitor restriction will go into place Wednesday at both the Milwaukee and Fox Valley hospital.
The policy does not include clinic appointments or emergency department visits.
