Double shooting near 62nd and Silver Spring leaves 2 seriously injured

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that left two people with life-threatening injuries Tuesday, July 26.

Officials say it happened just before 6 p.m. near 62nd and W. Silver Spring Drive.

Police say one of the victims, a 15-year-old Milwaukee boy, was seriously injured and taken to an area hospital where he is in serious condition but expected to survive.

The other victim, a 24-year-old Milwaukee man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital where he is said to be in grave condition.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting stem from a physical confrontation.

Milwaukee police are seeking unknown suspects.
