General Mills recalls five-pound bags of Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose Flour

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- General Mills is pulling pounds of its all purpose flour off of the shelves because of E. coli concerns.

The company announced a national recall of five-pound bags of its Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose Flour, with a "better if used by" date of Sept. 6, 2020.

The potential presence of E. coli was discovered during a sampling of the five-pound bag product. 

Consumers are asked to dispose of the product. Those affected may contact General Mills Consumer Relations or visit www.generalmills.com/flour.
