Glorious Malone’s Fine Sausage Inc. voluntarily recalling head cheese products due to possible listeria contamination

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Glorious Malone’s Fine Sausage Inc. a Milwaukee company of over 60 years is voluntarily recalling a little over 26,000 pounds of pork head cheese product that may have been contaminated with Listeria.

“We have voluntarily recalled this product because we always want our products to be safe. Jones continued, quality and integrity has been the core of our value system for over 60 years,” said Daphne Jones, President of Glorious Malone's Fine Sausage.

According to a United States Department of Agriculture, (USDA), the potentially infected product was produced August 27, 2018, through October 5, 2018.

The following products are subject to recall:

Various weights of vacuumed – sealed packages containing “Glorious Malone’s Fine Sausage, Inc. GOURMET PORK DELICACY HOT SEASONED HEAD CHEESE with a “Sell By” dates from 10/26/2018 through 12/5/1018 and lot code 3524 through 3540.
Various weights of vacuum-sealed packages containing “Glorious Malone’s Fine Sausage, INC. GOURMET PORK DELICACY MILD SEASONED HEAD CHEESE “with a “Sell By” dates from 10/26/2018 through 12/5/2018 and lot codes 3524 through 3540.
