Good Samaritan, State Trooper save life of man having medical emergency on I-41

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper and a Good Samaritan saved the life of a man who was having a medical emergency on Wednesday.

The Trooper was in the crossover on I-41 near Church Road when a roman was running south on the shoulder of I-41 northbound, waving and motioning for him.

The Trooper learned that a male passenger in a vehicle was having a medical emergency. He was unconscious and appeared to not be breathing.

The Trooper checked for a pulse and could not locate one. He started CPR until a Good Samaritan, who was a doctor, arrived on scene and assisted with rescue breaths.
